How to Use Spidy Mail Hunter (Step-by-Step Guide)

• Install the App
  Download and install Spidy Mail Hunter on your Windows computer. Once installed, open the application.

• Enter Your Target Website(s)

  If you want to scan a single site, paste the URL into the input field. If you’re working with multiple sites, paste the list of URLs separated by comma.

• Choose Crawling Options

  Enable Subpage Crawling if you want the tool to explore beyond the current page, increase the max depth. By default max depth visits only the current urls you have pasted. Increasing the max depth will increase number of sub-pages to  scan.  It’s recommended not to explore all pages because emails are found mainly on specific pages. Use those pages for speed and quick process.  There is also option to verify ssl or not and request timeouts. Don’t worry about these options for now.

• Start the Scan
  Click on the Start Hunting  button, and Spidy Mail Hunter will begin crawling through the websites and PDFs in real-time. Our software will find all emails and pdfs links on that page. PDFs are optional that’s why we have given a separate button to let you decide whether or not to scan PDFs for emails.

• Wait for Processing
  The software processes everything in memory, ensuring speed and efficiency. As it works, it collects, verifies, and filters emails automatically.

• Review Results
  Once the scan is complete, you’ll see a list of unique email addresses discovered from the websites and documents. Additionally, if pdfs are found you can click on Extract Emails From PDFs button

• Export Your Leads

Things to Keep in Mind (Limitations & Workarounds)

While Spidy Mail Hunter works smoothly on most websites and documents, there are a few cases where extraction may be limited. For example, if a site uses custom PDF readers with iFrames or embedded viewers, or if PDF links aren’t directly exposed in the webpage’s code, the software may not detect them. Similarly, some websites hide emails using obfuscation techniques (such as converting them into images or encoding them with scripts), which makes them inaccessible.

However, there’s a simple workaround: if PDFs are not detected automatically, you can manually download those files and place them inside a folder on your computer. By starting a local server (for example, using Python’s built-in command python -m http.server inside that folder), you can turn it into a local host. Then, simply copy the local link (such as http://localhost:8000/) into Spidy Mail Hunter. The tool will read all  the PDFs just like it would from a website, allowing you to extract emails from even those hard-to-detect files.

Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Download the PDF

• Visit the website and download the PDF file(s) you want to scan.
• Save them in a dedicated folder on your computer—for example, C:\PDFs (Windows).

Step 2: Install Python (if not already installed)

• Go to the official Python website: https://www.python.org/downloads/.
• Download the latest version of Python for Windows.
• During installation, make sure to tick the box that says “Add Python to PATH” before clicking install. This ensures you can run Python commands from your command prompt.

Step 3: Open Command Prompt

• Press Windows + R, type cmd, and hit Enter.
• Navigate to the folder where you saved your PDFs using the cd command. For example:

  cd C:\PDFs
  

Step 4: Start a Local Server

Once you’re inside the folder in Command Prompt, type:

python -m http.server

• This will start a simple local server on your computer at http://localhost:8000/.
• Don’t close the Command Prompt window, it needs to stay open while the server runs.

Step 5: Access Your PDF via Localhost

• Open your browser and type:

  http://localhost:8000/
  

• You’ll see a list of files from your folder.  Copy it.

Step 6: Use the Link in Spidy Mail Hunter

• Paste this local link into Spidy Mail Hunter just like you would with a website URL. Click start scrawling. It will first find all PDFs, then click exctract emails from the PDFs.
• The tool will read the PDF and extract emails as usual.

• We offer a significant discount from the original pricing (₹9,999 or $149) to ₹2,999 (India) or $49 (International). Due to this reduced pricing, refunds will not be entertained under any circumstances.

• Your purchase includes six (6) months of free updates and support from the date of purchase.
• After this period, if a new version of the Software is released, you must purchase the updated version separately.
